Weekly Intercession Update

Five prayer matters from the approved Wednesday private review. Current details and attribution are dated to this report; subsequent findings belong in the ongoing weekly verification sheet.

1. Nyala, Sudan — Urgent

Verified situation: MSF reported receiving 36 bodies and treating more than 150 wounded after October 26 strikes in Nyala. MSF attributes the strikes to Sudanese Armed Forces; higher fatality reports remain unverified.

Prayer focus: Pray for those grieving, the wounded, overwhelmed medical personnel and safe humanitarian access. Ask the Lord to protect civilians and establish truth and accountability.

2. Bundibugyo Ebola — DRC, Kenya and Nigeria

Verified situation: WHO's October 23 bulletin gave DRC totals as of October 20; later national figures reported in news coverage use different dates and should not be combined. Reports also describe danger to Ebola response workers.

Prayer focus: Pray specifically for patients, health workers, grieving families, contact tracers and accurate health communication. Ask the Lord for protection and effective care.

3. Gaza — Continuing Humanitarian Need

Verified situation: OCHA's October 26 report describes food-assistance shortfalls, ongoing medical supply shortages and threats to water access. Reopened bakeries represent a limited improvement, not resolution.

Prayer focus: Pray for consistent access to food, water, shelter and medical services; for children, displaced families and safe aid delivery.

4. Taiz, Yemen — Continuing Need

Verified situation: UNICEF reported that conflict and fuel shortages put water systems serving millions at risk, while displacement and health-service needs continue. No separately verified material change since Monday was established.

Prayer focus: Pray for safe drinking water, children and displaced households, clinics and nutrition programs, and protection from further violence.

5. Amiet Market / Abyei — Continuing Need

Verified situation: UNISFA reported lethal drone strikes near Amiet Market and Todach on October 19. Casualty counts and perpetrator attribution remain disputed.

Prayer focus: Pray for the bereaved, those missing and injured, emergency responders, protection of market communities and truthful investigation.
